From that point of view Britain had no objection to the enhanced relationship between Japan and Russia as outlined above, as well as the strengthening of the JapaneseFrench relationship, which came to be realized by the Japan-France Accord of 1907. Thus the alliance relationships of Britain, France and Russia, each supported by Japan, a newly emerging power in the Far East, took shape.
