Je viens de passer 5 heures sur un dessin que j’ai foiré à la fin. Ca allait juqu’a l’encrage, et puis la mise en couleurs s’est transformée en galère absolue. Bref… =__=

Désolé pour le manque d’update récemment, mais il semble que les choses interessantes attendent que je sois occupé pour se mettre sur mon chemin. En ce moment, j’essaye de définir la gamme de couleurs que j’utiliserais pour la partie du rêve, et je desinnes donc des croquis que je colorise en essayant de nouvelles combinaisons de couleur. En voici un que j’ai fait ce matin:

Le story board a un peu avancé aujourd’hui, mais surtout le concept et l’histoire. Moi et mon frère avons échafaudé les bases du récit, et j’ai maintenant hate de me mettre aux dessins finaux. ^_^

Ah voui, j’ai rippé les musiques du jeu megadrive Talmit’s Adventures/Marvel Land aujourd’hui et ai découvert qu’il existait une OST de la version arcade avec des arrangements. <3

Advanced a bit with the story board today, but most of all on the concept and story. Me and my bro imagined the bases of the story, and I can’t wait to work on the final drawings, now. ^_^

Oh yeah, I ripped the music from the megadrive game Talmit’s Adventures/Marvel Land today and found out that n OST of the arcade version existed with arrangements. <3

Bon, je tiens un début d’histoire. Un petit garçcon qui s’ennuit chez son grand père alors qu’il pleut et qui va trouver dans le grenier un… objet, je sais pas quoi encore… Enfin quelque chose d’aasez signifiant pour que quand il s’endorme cela influe ses rêves. Bref, oui, c’est le coup du gamin qui rêve de trucs incroyables qui a déja été fait 10.000 fois, mais j’espère le fait à ma sauce. Bref, on verra. >=)

So, yeah, I got a befinning for the story. A kid getting bored at his grand father’s place while it’s raining and finds… something in the attic… Something significant enough to influence his dreams, anyway. So yeah, it’s the classical kid dreaming of incredicle things which have already been done 10.000 times, but I hope I’ll be able to do it *my* way. Well, we’ll see. >=)

Alors voilà… Je dessine, j’esquisse et je ne sais pas où je vais. Je crois que c’est le terme “littérature jeunesse” qui me fait peur. J’ai du mal à situer les limites, à cibler les lecteurs… Il faut dire que c’est la première fois que je me mets à un projet destiné à un public extérieur et défini… En fait, je ne sais pas pour *qui* dessiner.

Voilà un petit viking qui est ressorti des esquisses d’aujourd’hui. =)

So, yeah… I draw, I sketch and I don’t know where I’m going. I think it’s the “youth literature” term that is scaring me. I’m having troubles defining the limits, the readers… It’s also the first time I work on a project targeted at an exterior and defined public… In fact, I don’t know *who* I’m drawing for.

Certains d’entre vous le savent déja, mais je compte depuis longtemps déja préparer ce concours qui aura lieu en octobre. J’ai déja perdu pas mal de temps, et aujourd’hui commence donc mon travail. Il est temps, car les dossiers doivent être renvoyé pour le 10 septembre. ._.

Je n’ai encore pas grande idée de ce que je vais faire. Le but étant de réaliser un oeuvre pour enfants tout en favoriant l’innovation. Je me sens un peu perdu, car l’illustration pour enfants est pleine de codes, et je ne suis pas trés versé dans l’innovation.

Enfin bref, on verra… Au boulot!

Some of you might know already, but I’ve been planning to participate in that october contest for a while now. I already lost quite a lot of time, and my work really begins today. It’s time, as the drawings must have been sent before the 10th of september. ._.

Well, we’ll see… Let’s get to work!
